Year 3 had a wonderful day at Barleylands, travelling back in time to the Stone Age.

They created Stone Age bread and stew – we cannot wait to hear how they tasted!

We travelled round Barleylands on a tractor, to help us think about the landscape and how it would differ in the Stone Age, as well as how the animals have adapted. Year 3 were also lucky enough to enter the Polytunnel, to see how different fruits and vegetables were grown.

We then visited the museum, to look at how ploughs and other equipment has changed since the Stone Age.
