We have an induction programme for welcoming new pupils which includes additional visits, meetings and tours. It might also be relevant for some pupils to receive a transition booklet to support them with the new information and changes.

We have a good relationship with our feeder pre-schools and we share information about pupil’s learning and social & emotional needs. The local pre-schools also enable us to visit the children in their settings so that we can mirror the support that they currently receive in their new class.

There is a transition programme at the end of each year as pupils change class in which information is passed on from one teacher to the next and is overseen by Miss Withers and Mrs Ramet.
