We have 60 children in each lower school year who learn in 2 classes of 30 pupils.
Each upper school year is divided into 3 classes. We have spaces for 96 pupils who learn in classes of up to 32 pupils.
Reception classes are named Ladybirds and Bumblebees. (These are two of the most important insects to both the animal and plant kingdoms representing the importance we place on strong educational foundations.)
All other classes are named according to their year group and teacher’s initials.
Every class has additional adults to support teaching and learning, called Learning Support Assistants, focusing mainly on those children who require adjustments to the curriculum to meet their needs. Every lower school class has at least one LSA all day and each upper school class has an LSA during the mornings.
