Children in Year 2 visited St. Andrew’s Church on London Road this afternoon as part of learning about special places in our community. The children were fascinated by the artefacts in the church and audibly gasped as they entered the beautiful location. This type of awe and wonder for our children is exactly what learning is about and the children took the opportunity to ask lots of questions. We will use the visit to inspire our learning as we continue it at school and will draw from the experience in our lessons. The children upheld their school values magnificently and ensured they were very respectful of both the building and Reverend Sue who accommodated us. Thank you to the parents who supported this trip.
