Year 2 had an excellent day at Colchester Zoo exploring the habitats and adaptations of all sorts of different animals! A sunny but breezy day meant that the children managed to see lots of very active and energetic animals. A performing gibbon that loved to show-off made them laugh and some adorable baby warthogs made them coo. As the year group’s first big trip out in many years, the children were full of excitement but made us incredibly proud with superb behaviour, great manners and brilliant enthusiasm. Thank you too all the parents who ensured their children were ready for a great day out and well done to Year 2 for representing our school so positively.
